The sport of Bowfishing has an important purpose when targeting Carp(Fish we’re targeting in this video). Carp are very invasive and due to being a Filter Feeding Fish, catching Carp with normal fishing methods is difficult. Bowfishing Carp is the equivalent to hunting Coyote’s to help protect local game. Carp put massive pressure on Native Fish. Though many people eat Carp, it is not the most desired fish to eat…but you can lol.
