Video three in the series is all about Twisting, Stretching and burnishing your bowstring. The last video in the series, video 4, is all about serving and measuring your string.
This DIY How to Build a Compound Bowstring video two is all about serving our end loops to make an endless loop bowstring. The tag end method allows a clean durable look on the bowstring and it can be done with little practice. The bowstring build process can be a fun way to spend time in your archery shop, perfecting your equipment. I enjoy making my own strings and cables and it is nice to know that I don’t have to wait for an archery shop to build them if I have a problem with my compound bowstrings.
I am not an expert string builder, I am just bringing you along for the ride. It is not a difficult thing to learn, and it is enjoyable to build strings for yourself. It also saves you a TON of money in the long run. Especially if you have multiple bows and shooters in the house.
